Spectacle on the Water: ‘The Ocean Race Europe’ is Coming to Boka Bay

The prestigious international sailing competition – The Ocean Race Europe 2025 – will hold its grand finale in the breathtaking Bay of Kotor this September, under the powerful slogan "Connecting Europe", as announced on the official website of the organizers.

A fleet of specially designed IMOCA racing yachts will sail into the Adriatic Sea, bringing not only world-class sporting action but also a strong message about ocean conservation and sustainability. These cutting-edge vessels are the pinnacle of sailing technology, and their arrival in Boka will be a moment to remember for sports lovers and environmental advocates alike.

The event kicks off on August 10 in Kiel, Germany, and wraps up in the scenic waters of Boka Bay. Montenegro, with its rich maritime history and stunning coastline, will be in the spotlight as sailors from across Europe race toward the finish line.

In addition to the main race events, visitors can expect a variety of activities, including open-boat tours, educational workshops, cultural exhibitions, and community events celebrating the union of sport, sustainability, and local heritage.
