With Blue card to Kotor, Dubrovnik, Mostar and Hutovo Blato Nature Park
This map is intended for visitors to the cross-border area Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Montenegro and allows visits at reduced prices on four thematic routes: Dubrovnik and Aquarium (Croatia), Kotor and Aquarium Boka (Montenegro), Water Trail Hutovo Blato and Water Trail Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
"It's much more than discount vouchers for four themed routes in three neighboring countries. It promotes cross-border mobility of tourists and the discovery of cross-border nature and cultural diversity. Every tourist with the Blue Card will become a member of the growing community to support the sustainable use of transboundary aquatic biodiversity, "said Dr. Aleksandar Joksimović, director of the Institute of Marine Biology.
This map is a product of the project "Discovering transboundary aquatic biodiversity - EXCHAngE", co-financed by the ERDF and IPA II funds of the European Union through the cross-border program Interreg IPA CBC Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Montenegro. The project is implemented by five partners: University of Dubrovnik - Institute of Sea and Coastal Affairs, Tourist Organization of Kotor, University of Montenegro - Institute of Marine Biology, Tourist Board of Herzegovina-Neretva County and Public Company Hutovo Blato Nature Park, Capljina.
Jovan Ristic, director of the Kotor Tourist Organization, says this guide enables research into the region's cultural and natural heritage, especially transboundary aquatic biodiversity. To make use and navigation through the application as easy as possible for the user, the guide is divided into sections where each section is dedicated to one thematic route: Dubrovnik and Aquarium (Croatia), Kotor and Aquarium Boka (Montenegro), waterway Mostar and waterway Park of Nature Hutovo Blato (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Each Blue Card has a unique code that entitles the holder to purchase one discounted ticket for four themed routes in the cross-border area. It can be purchased at the points of sale of all project partners.
